School Overview

The Excel Center is an adult high school that will offer a full high school curriculum to adults 18 and over, allowing students to earn an accredited high school diploma.  Students will have access to academic and life coaching, child care, flexible scheduling, college credits, industry-recognized certifications and much more –  all at no cost to them.

The Excel Center Model

Structures and Practices for Student Success

  • Flexible scheduling available to meet needs of working and busy adults;
  • No classes on Fridays, but all students can receive tutoring and coaching support;
  • 10-week terms are designed to accelerate credit attainment (4 terms per year);
  • Small class sizes with structured support;
  • Transportation assistance offered and facility is metro accessible;
  • On-site Child Development Center;
  • Mature learning environment: Student population is a mix of younger and older students;
  • Career training classes in Hospitality, Security & Protective Services, Technology, and many more, all resulting in industry recognized credentials;
  • Support enrolling in college and new careers up to six months after graduation;
  • and 2 graduation ceremonies per year.
